Salmon Cycle

Salmon cycle is a game where you play as a salmon going through the life cycle! You will need to survive harsh environments competing against other salmon for food, and surviving many types of predators. Salmon cycle is a short one-and-done experience, and it shouldn't take any more than 10 minutes to complete.
I made this game for the GMTK Game Jam 2025, and my goal was to make a game that looked good, and to some extent I think that goal was achieved. I hope in future years to learn how to better optimize my games, especially since they are running on a web platform (sorry for any lag by the way).

salmon racing game
Quite enjoyable. The whole experience is very polished, but the swimming levels could use a higher jump height and some awesome racing music
This is a really fun game. I love the different gameplay modes. And I love the way it ends. The upstream level was the hardest -- almost like a final boss -- and I initially went the wrong way and fell off a waterfall. It was all very fitting and I learned a lot about the Alaskan salmon, too.
